Start a rewards program

Two numbers to set, and regulars start earning points that turn into coupons automatically. The whole loyalty program, minus the punch cards.

Before you start: A business on Tavvi with sales flowing (in person or online, both earn), and a decision about how generous to be. There's math below to help.

How Tavvi rewards work

Customers earn points on what they spend with your business. When their points reach a milestone you set, Tavvi automatically issues them a coupon for your store, Earn Coupons is exactly how the app pitches it to them: earn enough points, a coupon shows up. No punch cards, no stamps, no you-remembering-anything. Points are per-business, so if you run two locations, a customer's points work across both.

You set two things:

Turn it on

  1. On the business side, open Settings and find Rewards & Ownership, rewards live at the business level, not per store. Owner-only territory.

  2. Set Reward Rate (HQ) and the milestone.

  3. That's the program. Every sale from here earns points automatically, in-store and online.

Picking numbers that don't hurt

The coupon is a discount you'll actually give, so decide what you can afford before being generous:

Heads up: One legal-shaped habit to keep, in your captions and your counter talk: points earn coupons, don't advertise points as being "worth" a dollar amount. "Earn points, get treats" is the safe and true framing; the coupon is where the value shows up.

Tell people, or it doesn't exist

The program runs silently, customers see their points in the app after they pay, and their coupons appear when milestones hit. Your job is the first mention: a counter sign, an IG story, a "you're already earning points" at handoff. Regulars who know about points behave like regulars.
