Read your day in five seconds
Appointments is home base. Two ways to look at it, Calendar for the shape of the day, List for the run-sheet, and Today / Tomorrow one tap away. Working with staff? Filter by person, or All Members for the whole floor.
Morning read: gaps you could fill, back-to-backs that need prep, and any name you want context on before they walk in.
Book someone yourself
Plenty of bookings happen out loud, a call, a "can you fit me in Thursday?" over the counter.
Pick the slot on the calendar and add the appointment.
Client Name and phone, the phone number ties this visit to their customer profile, which is where the history lives.
Appointment Notes: "Add any special requests or notes" means exactly that, the color formula, the "always running 10 late," the thing future-you thanks present-you for writing down.
Quick-time buttons (9 AM, 2 PM…) make the common cases two taps.
When they arrive
- Tap Start Now, the appointment flips to Service started and the day moves.
- Walk-in mid-schedule? Add to Queue slots them into the same flow your booked clients ride.
- Staff member out sick? Reassign moves the appointment to whoever's on, the client keeps their time.
When they don't arrive
No Show. The confirm asks "Mark as no-show?", say yes and the record stays honest. You're not being petty; you're building the history that tells you whether a third chance is charity or a pattern.
The rebooking ritual (this is the money part)
When you complete an appointment, the app asks: "Book Next Appointment?", with one-tap answers like Same time next week and In 2 weeks.
Take the ten seconds, every time. A client rebooked at the chair is a client who never opens a competitor's page. Ask out loud, "same time in two weeks?", tap the preset, done. Businesses that make this a ritual run on a recurring book; businesses that skip it start every month at zero. (Maybe Later exists, but let it be the client's answer, not your habit.)
If something's off
- "No appointments scheduled" on a day you know has bookings. Check the staff filter first, a single-member view hides everyone else's appointments. All Members shows the truth.
- "Appointment data is unavailable while offline", appointments need a connection. Get back online; nothing is lost.
- The assigned staffer left the business. The appointment flags it and Reassign hands it to someone current. The client never has to know the backstage.
