Find something worth ordering
Three ways in, all fine:
- Browse. The home tab surfaces businesses near you; the shop tab is built for wandering by category, bakers, lash artists, retail, food.
- Search. Type what you're craving or the business name you half-remember. Results narrow as you type.
- Their link. Most businesses on Tavvi share their page straight from an Instagram bio. Tapping that link lands you on the same store you'd find in the app, order there, same account, same rewards.
Build your order
Open an item. If it has choices, size, flavor, add-ons, the item sheet asks before it lets you add. Required choices are marked; you literally can't order it half-configured.
Add to cart, keep browsing if you want. The cart travels with you across the app.
Open the cart to review. Items are grouped by business, you can order from more than one place, and each business's order is checked out on its own.
Got a coupon from a business's rewards? Apply it here, the discount shows before you pay, and if you change the cart so the coupon no longer qualifies, it takes itself off.
Choose how you get it
Depending on what the business offers, you'll pick:
- Pickup, order ahead, walk in, grab it. You'll see an estimated ready time.
- Delivery, a courier brings it. Your address decides availability and the delivery fee, which you see before paying.
- Shipping, it mails to you; the real carrier rate shows at checkout.
Delivery and shipping ask for your address once and remember it for next time.
Pay, and what happens next
Pay with your card right in the checkout. The moment it goes through you get a confirmation, and if the business runs rewards, you'll see the points you just earned, right there. The order lands on the business's register in real time; your job is done.
Your active order shows on the home screen until it's in your hands, tap it anytime to see where things stand ("Track your order" covers every status).
If something's off
- An item won't add to cart. A required option isn't picked yet, the sheet highlights what's missing.
- Delivery isn't offered for you. You're outside that business's delivery range, or they only do pickup. The options you see are the options they actually offer.
- You need to change an order you just placed. Message the business right away from the order screen, it's the fastest path while the order is still being prepared.
